The next day John and Nesiara met up with Kirito and Asuna as they went together to said assembly.
Arriving there many had hope back in their eyes as they saw the people that cleared the first 24 floors alone join them anew to fight against the boss of the 25th floor.
Heathcliff was leading the assembly as he and a small group formed the guild named Knight of the Blood. They were wearing red and white clothes. Many people were there like Klein and his guild named Fuurinkazan and many others.
"You are finally back," says Klein as he leaves his friend group to talk to John and Nesiara.
"Sorry for worrying you but we really needed a little break to train," says John when Nesiara took his arm.
"And to bound with each other," says Nesiara as Klein was looking at both surprised.
"So you are-" says Klein surprised as Nesiara interrupts him.
"Together. Yes," says Nesiara looking happy.
"It seems the two legendary front-liners will join us in the battle," says Heathcliff as he approaches them. He was still suspicious of them but didn't show it.
Many others approached John and Nesiara since they wouldn't get such a chance again when Heathcliff says, "Maybe we should begin the assembly to talk about why we are really here for."
He got everyone's attention as he then says, "My guild found the boss chamber yesterday. If we move now we could kill the boss before it gets dark."
Then Heathcliff showed where the lair was to the other front-liners on a map as everyone was ready to move out. John and Nesiara were in a party with Kirito and Asuna as they were against the first boss.
Arriving there John looked at the boss again and says, "Something is wrong."
"You noticed it too," says Nesiara as she looked serious seeing a two-headed giant standing in front of them.
"What's wrong?" asks Kirito as he sees both look serious.
"It used to be only a one-headed giant with two arms. Now it is a two-headed giant with four arms," says John as he informed Kirito and Asuna as they were now on guard after hearing that.
"Should we inform the others?" asks Asuna worried as both Nesiara and John shake their heads.
"No panic could arise if they find out the enemy changed. It would be a big hit on the morale of everyone," says John as he takes both Kings out while Nesiara took her staff out of her hair making the hair fall near the end of her back.
"We going serious against it?" asks Nesiara as she saw John use both Kings instead of Yamato.
"A little," says John as he rushed at the giant while Heathcliff sees it.
"Take care of the mobs around the boss so the Legends can take care of the boss," says Heathcliff as he rushed with his group at the mobs around the giant as John and Nesiara rushed at giant.
John evades the mace coming for him while Nesiara evades an ax. They then jump and Nesiara extends her staff making the giant lose balance as John twirls in the air making five perfect cuts separating the arms from the giant and a head only to see a shadow appear over him as a pole came towards him.
He evades it as they see that the arms and head weren't separated and John says, "Right. I forgot we are in a game."
Nesiara was pummeling the giant with her staff making it fall as John was trying to separate the weapons from the giant as he attacked the hand or even weapon.
He breaks the mace as the ax came after him with Nesiara blocking it with her staff as she says, "Your rear is wide open."
"You know it wouldn't have hit me," says John as he jumps over Nesiara and smashes the ax to pieces as Nesiara jumped using John's back and hits both heads with her staff making the giant stumble backward.
Then John charges forward an uses the blunt side to make the giant fall as it falls Nesiara makes her staff thicken up as she suddenly had a pillar instead of a staff in her hand and smacked it onto the giant leaving it on it.
She then takes out her spear and rushes directly at one of the giant's heads while John rushed at the other. She pierced through it while John sliced through it as suddenly the giant disintegrated and an announcement sounded informing that the 25th-floor boss was defeated as the pillar fell to the ground making the floor shake.
Nesiara then stored Queen away before picking her staff up that turned back into a hairpin and made her hair reach only the back of her neck again.
"It seems we are done her let's continue shall we," says Nesiara with a smile as the groups were a little in disbelief of what they just saw them doing.
John and Nesiara continued walking towards the next floor when Heathcliff announced that his guild was recruiting members to grow and defeat the game.
Asuna wanted to join but Kirito didn't making a little fight happen between both as Asuna was invited by Heathcliff personally before with high regards while Kirito would be only a grunt in his guild.
Kirito didn't join because he liked his freedom having no one dragging him down while Asuna joined and was made directly the sub-leader of the Knights of the Blood. The fight between both exploded with Kirito walking away because Asuna gave some important reasons to join the guild.
"Problem in paradise?" asks John as Kirito only looked at him angrily and walked away when John says, "He really is pissed but he knows she is right."
John then walks with Klein over to Asuna and Nesiara that were talking with each other and hear Nesiara say, "He will calm down and return sooner or later. He can't run away after all."
Asuna was sad about it but cheered up after hearing Nesiara say that as she was right Kirito couldn't really run away from them since they are trapped in a game.
"What are you two now going to do?" asks Asuna as she saw Klein and John beside her too.
"I'm going to clean some more floors in the next few months to see how far we can go alone. We just used some of our strength but we still have some aces hidden after all," says John as Nesiara smiles.
"Maybe we can enjoy a little bit of time to finally go on a date what do you think?" asks Nesiara as John was smiling.
"Alright how about we go to one tomorrow after we cheered our little girl up," says John as he picked Asuna up and put her on his shoulder. She felt a little embarrassed by it.
Nesiara jumped on the other shoulder and looks at Asuna while saying, "Don't be embarrassed do you know how many women would kill to be on John's shoulder right now."
John walked with them on his shoulder as if they weighed nothing. As they walked a bit on the 26th floor before returning to the 22nd floor to their house as Nesiara made something sweet for Asuna.
Asuna joined Nesiara and Jack appears and says, "You finally got the girl. Now you have to make her happy."
"I will try but why are you here?" asks John as Jack smiles.
"The plan has changed," says Jack as he snaps and both his seal and Nesiara's seal were gone when suddenly Asuna dropped what she was holding and began to feel pain as an unknown energy was running inside her.
"What did you do?" asks John as Logan/Alfred appears.
"He did nothing but release your seal. I did the other thing to every person inside the game except for the children," says Logan/Alfred as he sits down and continues, "I now take charge of the game. Someone might not like it but now it is my survival game and you are able to use all your power for now."
Then Logan/Alfred stood up and snaps his fingers again and says, "You need a challenge if you are going to fight against Doom. You need to get stronger and need to collect more Achievement Points to buy crucial items to defeat him and like this it is possible."
Logan/Alfred and Jack then stand up as Logan/Alfred rushes at John while Jack rushes into the kitchen towards Nesiara and suddenly they feel some kind of energy enter his body as he was trying to walk towards the kitchen when he feels pain strike him.
After a moment he was on his knee and John asks, "What was it this time?"
"The same energy the people got. It's called Chakra with it you will become a little stronger but not strong enough to defeat Doom. You will need to get far more stronger. You need to reach the God Realm to be able to fight him," says Logan/Alfred as Nesiara and Jack came out of the kitchen while Jack was carrying Asuna.
"You can find some scrolls in Paradise also you already made a pact with a summoning animal. So you can summon from their clan," says Logan/Alfred as both looked confused at him.
"He means the tattoos you have are prove of your contract with said summoning animal," says Jack as both now understood why they became a tattoo and disappeared completely.
"I also created a system for people to learn jutsus but it's a system after all it's better to learn it yourself since you could learn more jutsus that way and create your own jutsu too," says Logan/Alfred as he explained everything to them and says, "From tomorrow on the whole game will be changed and you two might be their only hope as I will reset all the skills everyone obtained so they can take a better path to show their expertise."
Jack then enters the bedroom and puts Asuna in a bed and returns and says, "From today on be careful since you don't have a system and will need to learn jutsus yourself. Maybe you should use your Sharingan to copy their jutsus since you have it. It makes it easier to learn jutsus."
"So tomorrow begins the real deal," says John as both nod.
"It's because someone disappointed me in making the bosses harder to beat. Now he has lost control over the system and will deal with the consequences himself. But for now you should learn again. Maybe take that girl with you if she is important to both of you," says Logan/Alfred as he suggested some options to Nesiara and John before both disappeared as they arrived.
"And the Deathmarch begins. How many people do you think we will lose now?" asks Nesiara seriously.
"Too many," says John as he was also thinking about other things to like who was the person they mentioned.
"We should go to Paradise and take Asuna with us for now," says Nesiara as John went into the bedroom and takes Asuna out of the bed as Nesiara says, "Justice time to get to Paradise again."
They shined for a moment before the three disappeared again without saying a word.
