If you hadn't met me, who would you have targeted?
Yan Yu hadn't really thought about that question before.
It was as if meeting her was fate.
They were destined to meet.
Yan Yu wasn't sure why he had such a thought...
"If I say I had this thought only after meeting you, would you believe me?" Yan Yu leaned back against the headboard, relaxed, with a slight smile on his face, not the least bit worried about his predicament. It was as though he was on vacation.
Chuzheng replied in a calm yet serious tone, "I believe everything you say." Bullshit.
"Oh?" Yan Yu's eyes curved with amusement, "Then if I tell you I won't run, will you let me go?"
Chuzheng, with her hands propped on either side of him, coldly dropped the words onto Yan Yu's heart, "No." In your dreams.
"You don't believe me?" he asked.
"That has nothing to do with whether I let you go or not," Chuzheng said, very self-righteously.
