A modern myth made in memory, longing, and love that refuses to die quietly.
Somewhere between dusk and dawn, where time folds and the sky forgets its color, a boy once made of starlight stood beneath Earth's atmosphere and forgot why he ever feared the rain.
Roses bloomed without sunlight. Wishes were folded into pillowcases.
And Eros watched.
He always watched.
Two figures strolled through the courtyard below, fingers brushing, not quite ready to hold. They didn't notice the god above them. They never did. But he saw it all-every stolen glance, every unsent message, every soft pause before saying "good night."
Earth was a mess of carefree laughter and unanswered questions. Of motel rooms, café dates, and awkward silences over half-drunk wine. But it was also where love bloomed up quietly in broken places, like a seed beneath winter soil.
Maybe that's why he stayed.
Not to fix anyone. Not to play god. But to understand why, even after it all-humans still believed in falling.
And sometimes, when the night was especially quiet, he forgot he had wings.
Especially when she walked by- Her green, weary eyes and a voice like a fading memory, as if, somewhere, once, she had known how to break his heart with treachery.
