What Ninjutsu? I Practice Cultivation (Naruto FF)
After staying up late one too many times, Asakawa Naoki died unexpectedly of liver failure—only to awaken in the world of Naruto. But there was a problem: he couldn’t refine chakra. Without it, becoming a ninja was impossible.
Or so he thought.
While Naoki couldn’t use chakra or perform even the most basic jutsu, he discovered something even rarer—he could cultivate immortal arts. If being a ninja was out of reach, then he would walk a different path altogether.
Starting with the chakra refining scroll left behind by his parents, Naoki learned the basics of Qi training. Watching others practice ninjutsu, he discovered his own way forward: from learning “three-point fire” by observing Fire Release, to crafting bean soldiers from Clone Technique lessons, to mastering movement arts by adapting the Body Flicker.
Scroll by scroll, lesson by lesson, he built a style uniquely his own—one rooted in nature, not chakra.
Years later, as the Hokage known as the Perfect Sage, Asakawa Naoki faced the revived Kaguya Ōtsutsuki and the celestial clan behind her. Looking down at them, he said calmly:
“Aliens? So what?
They follow the laws of nature, just like I do—
and I shine just as bright as the sun and moon.”
