Synopsis
In the year 2044, Zen embarks on his junior year of college full of ambition, excitement, and hope. Dreaming of a future shaped by hard work and close friendships, he finds himself entangled with a group of classmates that seem to offer everything he’s been looking for—connection, camaraderie, and a sense of belonging.
Among them is Yu, a friend who quickly becomes the center of Zen’s attention. What begins as an innocent bond soon deepens, clouded by misunderstandings, manipulations, and emotional traps that Zen is too kind-hearted—or too blind—to see.
As the months pass, Yu’s true nature unravels, controlling Zen’s social life, ambitions, and even his emotions. Despite warnings from teachers and friends, Zen’s loyalty keeps him tethered to a friendship that was never as genuine as it seemed.
When a holiday trip abroad brings everything to a head, Zen is forced to make a painful choice: stay in a toxic friendship or finally break free. In the aftermath of betrayal, a formal case is opened, secrets are exposed, and Zen is left questioning the very foundation of trust and friendship.
Now facing a pivotal moment in his life, Zen must find the strength to heal, rebuild, and chase the dreams that nearly slipped away.
Will he rise from the ruins of betrayal, or will the weight of the past crush the future he’s fighting for?
An emotional coming-of-age story about resilience, heartbreak, and the silent battles fought within the walls of college life.
