Arkanetica: The System That Dreamed Itself

Tempernce
"Threads bind fate. But what happens when one is born without a Thread?" Ari Solen awakens in a strange new world governed by ancient magic, noble bloodlines, and a living System that assigns your worth from birth. In the kingdom of Aristeia, power is everything—and power is written in your Thread, a magical lineage etched into the soul. But Ari has no Thread. No lineage. No fatepath. Classified as a Null-Origin, Ari is an error the world was never meant to see—an anomaly that corrupts the System by simply existing. Locked abilities, fragmented memories, and dreams written in a forgotten magical language begin to surface, drawing attention from dangerous forces: noble Houses, secret orders, and something far older beneath the world’s code. Now enrolled in Sanctum Academy, the elite school where prodigies battle and ascend the magical hierarchy, Ari must hide the truth of what he is while uncovering what the System was designed to suppress. With mysterious allies like the brilliant noble girl Cerys Aetherrose, the quiet memory-weaver Eluin, and even a tsundere princess with a sword to grind—Ari walks a path of duels, spells, secrets, and scripted destiny. But Ari doesn’t follow scripts. He rewrites them. "In a world bound by code and legacy, he is the wild variable."

A Time of Tigers - From Peasant to Emperor

There is a sense for greatness. Some people carry it around like a bad smell. They make us stop on the street, and look their way, whether we wish to or not. Their appearance might be ordinary, but there’s something about them, something beyond the norm. Something that makes you almost wish to bend the knee to them. Our kings have likely had that something, those that came from nothing but ashes and ruin, in times of trouble and famine, where the hearts of the masses are restless, and they need a cause to bind to. What makes them choose one man over another? It is my contention that there is a true gravity to such individuals. That progress, or competence, or greatness itself carries a weight. That a man might grow greater in the dark, and whether he wishes it or not, by the sheer gravity of his existence, tigers will make their way towards his door, catching his scent in the wind. The tigers hide themselves in the forests, in villages unknown, amongst the peasantry, but sooner or later, it does seem, that they are always cast into the light. It requires an immense effort of will to keep them hidden. A man of such a gravity will see themselves risen, without will, to ranks beyond that of the norm – in times of peace, they might rise high indeed. But in times of chaos? When the world is in upheaval, when every piece in up in the air? Then a tiger from the most lowly of starts, with a competency – a density – beyond belief, as if they were a different creature entirely – they might go all the way. They might be the creature that – though a peasant themselves – the peasantry themselves kneel to. They might go further, and make the soldiery kneel, and then even the nobles after them. And a special class, beyond all others, might go even further still, and snatch a crown the head of a king, on a flurry of brilliant victories, on a story so overwhelming it almost might have seemed preordained. It is those men that we ought to fear, and it those men that we will eternally be at the mercy of. It is those men that we do the honour of addressing as our kings, and our emperors.

I Became a Kindergarten Teacher for Monster Babies!

She applied for a simple teaching job. She ended up raising a classroom full of supernatural toddlers and accidentally becoming the Demon Lord’s obsession. -`♡´- Struggling to pay rent and drowning in rejection emails, Alina Hart, 24, is desperate for a stable job. When she stumbles across a strange flyer offering a "live-in teaching position at a private academy," she signs the contract without reading the fine print. Big mistake. On her first day, she learns three things: 1...Her students are not human. 2...One breathes fire. Another howls at the moon. One floats through walls and another eats chalk like candy. 3...The school’s principal is Dante Nightshade, a seven-foot-tall Demon Lord with blood-red eyes and zero patience for mortals. And Alina? She just accidentally scolded the Demon Prince, Dante’s only son. Now, the students are clinging to her. The royal parents are demanding "private meetings." And the Demon Lord keeps appearing in her classroom with a gaze that’s far too intense for a casual visit. -`♡´- Alina: “Please stop throwing fireballs in the classroom!” Baby Dragon: “But Teacher! That’s how we play catch!” -`♡´- Alina: “Luna, you can’t bite people just because they sit next to me.” Luna (growling): “He was breathing near you. That’s MY air!” Alina: “…Please don’t make this a crime scene.” -`♡´- Sable (whispering from her shadow): “I bit the crayon... and it betrayed me.” Alina: “Sable… crayons are not food.” Sable: “…Then why are they so colorful?” -`♡´- Vlad Jr.: “Miss Alina, I have written my will.” Alina: “You’re four.” Vlad Jr.: “And yet, I have already loved and lost.” Alina: “…You lost a cookie.” •••• She wanted a quiet job with crayons and nap time. What she got was magical chaos, clingy monster cubs, and a demon principal who doesn’t understand why her smile affects him more than any weapon ever has...
