Celeste Everhart (18) never expected a second chance—to reclaim her voice, and her fate, and uncover the truths that remained buried in her first life. Once an unwanted heiress sacrificed to the secretive and ruthless Brightwell family, Celeste forced herself to become something she could never imagined herself to be. A shark. Celeste saw a glimpse of what was hidden in the shadows at night and had failed to take her place in the Brightwell family. Or rather they had failed her. With the weight of her past life’s memories, Celeste knows what she would do differently… or so she believes. Yet, the more she navigates through these familiar yet treacherous waters, the more she discovers just how little she truly understands. And in this life, three men from her past emerge in ways she could never have foreseen: Avond Brightwell (28) the man she once loved so deeply that he became her voice and her world. But as hidden layers reveal themselves, Celeste begins to wonder—was Avond the man she thought he was? Or is he something far more dangerous? Tiel Brightwell (22) the one who once despised her, mocked her silence, and later fathered her only child. Now, he seems capable of kindness and perhaps even love, but Celeste can’t forget the pain he caused. Will she forgive him, or will she let go of who she was to destroy him? Even when he had not committed the crimes he committed in the past? Gen Callisto (23) the shadow from her sister’s stories, is a self-made millionaire with a tragedy looming in his future. Drawn to him in unexpected ways, Celeste must decide if she can save him from the darkness, or let him perish with the rest. As Celeste battles between love, loyalty, and the desire for vengeance, she faces a final question: will she remain the person she was before and let her new life take its course? Or will she let the hurt of her past turn her heart cold? After all, what better vengeance than to come back with the heart of a shark? -------- Disclaimer: The story begins with Celeste's first life— so please stay tuned because it will be worth it!

Welcome to Void High

Welcome to Void High Powered by Project: Reboot. Probably illegal. Definitely unhinged. Killa used to be a chill, stay-home novelist who took the apocalypse way too seriously—until it got her killed. Literally. Turns out prepping your whole apartment with canned goods and survival gear means nothing when your lovely neighbors turn into backstabbing looters with pitchfork energy. But death? Pfft. Temporary glitch. Now she’s alive-ish again. Sort of. And standing in front of a creepy little school in the middle of nowhere—which her new robot sidekick cheerfully informs her is Void High. The building? Falling apart. The location? A whole void. The mission? Recruit students, build a zombie-fighting academy, and try not to die (again). With a system called Project: Reboot, a robot that may or may not be reading her mind, and no idea what’s really going on, Killa is back—and she’s about to turn the end of the world into the weirdest school year ever. Saving the world wasn’t on her to-do list. But now that she’s here? She’s gonna ace it. Or at least... wing it spectacularly. __________ Welcome to Void High Brought to you by Project: Reboot—saving the world one reluctant human at a time. Hi! I'm Vee—tiny, adorable, high-functioning, emotionally devastating AI companion. And today’s my lucky day because guess who I just revived from the dead? That’s right: Killa. Ex-novelist, professional shut-in, lowkey doomsday prepper (respect), and now...my official partner in apocalypse management. See, the world outside? Yeah. Total zombie buffet. Not cute. So now we’re in the Void—an untraceable, attack-proof pocket dimension with one glorious asset: Void High, our very own three-story, half-collapsing school of survival. Mission? Recruit students. Train them. Send them out to mop up undead slime while Killa levels up, upgrades the campus, and tries not to scream. She’s already died once, so what’s the worst that could happen? Probably a lot. But I believe in her. Kind of. Anyway, class starts soon. Bring weapons. And snacks.

I Was Abducted By Aliens and Sold to the Highest Bidder in the Galaxy

They say, although you never really know how reliable 'they' are, that over five million people go missing every year and are never heard from again. Is that worldwide? America only? I never cared enough to pay attention, because as far as I was concerned, it had nothing to do with me. No one I know has ever disappeared, and the odds say that no one I ever know ever will. There's more people who live in New York City than that, and I've never even been to New York City, much less lived there. I don't know anyone who has. Besides. There's so many more pressing matters to think about. I never have the sort of free time I need to think that, really, I'm playing a lottery with crappy odds I didn't ask to play in. Every single person I know is another entry every year, and first prize is ending up among those people that lose someone who never reappears. Sooner or later, there's a lot of people who win the grand prize jackpot they didn't know they were competing for. At seventeen the state of Oregon doesn't think I'm ready for the cut-throat world of scratch tickets and guessing lottery numbers. Turns out there's some lotteries out there that you don't need to play to win. Some people see their numbers on the television, some people have to wrestle them back from enthusiastic shop owners, and then some people take the scenic route from the bus stop and run into a wall of light and weightlessness halfway home. I grew up in a little town in the Pacific Northwest that's never been in any movies, and I hit the jackpot at seventeen years old.
